We are a one form entry primary school which was established in September 2013 and we pride ourselves on being at ‘The heart of the Community’.
Our website has been designed to provide all the essential information about our school and we hope that you find it easy to use. It is regularly being updated with news, events and all the key dates for the year but If you do have any enquiries, or require a hard copy of any of the documents available, please contact Mrs Fischer-Tsang via the school office.
We're learning about bees!
Year 1 and year 2 have been busy learning about communities this term with a focus on bees. Children and staff had a buzz day to celebrate and learn about the importance of bees.
The children got hands on building their own bee boxes, learning to measure and use a range of tools. They even got to do some honey tasting, measuring amounts out and baking flapjacks.
World Book Day was a little bit different this year with some children in school and some learning at home. But we still managed to do lots of exciting activities based around books. Have a look at the book covers we recreated at home.
On 4th May, four children from Pygora class took part in the 20th anniversary Ashford year 5 interschool maths competition. Around 20 schools from across the borough completed the challenge to answer 25 maths problems in just 20 minutes! Pygora worked extremely hard as a team and did themselves, the class and Goat Lees very proud. With a final score of 75 points, they showed just how talented they are! Well done to all!
Year 5 Maths Comp
We had great fun when the snow arrived at Goat Lees! We also enjoyed seeing the photos from those of you learning at home, it looked like you had lots of fun sledging and throwing snow balls.
