Easter is coming and we need some help:
*If you, or the company, that you work for are able to donate a prize these will be raffled at the Easter craft fair on Monday 26 March.
*We are asking for cakes to sell.
*If you are able to give some time to support us in running a stall, please contact us.

Hello I am a 44 year old married mother of six! I am a stay at home mum now but previously was a mental health support worker in an acquired brain injury unit. I love most forms of crafting especially baking, paper craft, jewellery making and sculpture. My happy place is sitting in my craft room with 3 or 4 projects on the go. I have pet rats and African pygmy dormice.
I am married and a mother of two girls, my youngest daughter attends Goat Lees Primary School and is in year 4, my eldest daughter attends Kent University. I work part time as a project manager for Edify Training consultancy. I am also doing a Level 1 Sign Language Course. My aim is for the Friends to raise funds for the benefit of the children whilst boosting the profile of the school within the local community.
I am Mum to two boys, Noah currently in year 2 at Goat Lees and Zachary who will be starting school next September. Myself and my husband run a business which allows me to be flexible with my time, and this is why I decided to join the Friends and help raise money for the school by helping to organise fun and exciting events for the children & their families. I love being involved with the school in this way & love seeing how excited the children get at the events, from the annual summer fair to the discos. The events raise money for various school resources, subsidise school trips as well as pay towards vital equipment such as the school minibus so it is an important group. We have lots of fun ourselves while organising and I have made a fantastic group of friends at the same time!
I am a mum to Lily in year 2 and Jack who is at nursery. I work as a teaching assistant at Lady Joanna Thornhill Primary School in Wye. I love being involved in the Friends of Goat Lees as I like to be able to support the school in raising money and enjoy seeing the children having fun at the events we put so much work into. I used to work as a journalist, so I am able to put my writing skills to good use producing the newsletters. The Friends has allowed me to meet a great group of parents that have fun while organising events.
I’m a mother of two children, both currently attend Goatlees primary school. I studied civil engineering at university and have a degree and masters. Previous to giving up work to raise my family, I was a structural engineer and have also worked in accounts. I volunteer at the school a few afternoons a week, with year 2 & 6 maths. My interests are crafting, my pet dalmatian, reading and helping out with fund raising events for the school.
The children enjoyed the end of year disco and as you can see, they really let their hair down!
We held a very successful summer fair - even the rain stayed away! Thank you to everyone who helped to organise the event and run a stall. Of course, a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported us.
We had a very successful Christmas Fair, Father Christmas came to see us and there was a lot of fun and games! Thank you to everyone who supported us.
We held a Monster Ball - it was a very scary evening! Thank you to everyone who helped us to have a fantastic time.
