To start off our seaside theme in English and Topic, Angora and Alpine Classes enjoyed a brilliant day 'by the seaside' in our school playground and field. The children were able to dive into water, paddle with sharks, build sandcastles and play volleyball too. They all enjoyed a delicious ice-cream served from the Goat Lees Ice Cream Van as well! This exciting day will help to inspire our children in their writing and help them to describe the seas, oceans and coasts they come across in Topic work too! What a wonderful way to end the school year with Goatfest 2022! Thank you to the staff (and FOGL) who ran lots of different areas including: gymnastics corner, storytime tent, planting sunflowers, mocktails, bubbles, tattoos, rave room, biscuit decorating, face painting, messy area and penalty shoot out. Well done also to the children who kept us entertained throughout the morning with a talent show on the stage. We finished the morning with fish and chips on the field followed by an ice cream.
