We are a one form entry primary school which was established in September 2013 and we pride ourselves on being at ‘The heart of the Community’.
Our website has been designed to provide all the essential information about our school and we hope that you find it easy to use. Year 3 have been learning about the history of trains and the impact of trains on Ashford. They have completed some incredible projects at home - we thought you'd like to see them.
We supported #Hello Yellow in support of World Mental Health Day. Children could choose to wear a little (or a lot!) of yellow to raise money for Young Minds. We raised an incredible £205 - so a BIG thank you to everyone who donated dome money. Throughout the day, we looked at different books and talked about sharing our worries: we decided that no worry is a 'silly' worry. After lunch, we had our mindfulness afternoon where the chidlren learnt some breathing exercises, made worry dolls and lavender bags. Remember to keep talking!

Before the children in Reception class started school, the children in Year 6 wrote to their buddy to tell them a bit about themselves. Now they have settled into school life, we went for a walk together to Sandyacres. It was a bit wet but it didn't dampen our spirits - we loved being with our buddies!
Bug Hotel Competiton
Look at some of our fabulous entries for the design a unique Bug Hotel competition. We think they are all AMAZING and can't believe the hard work that has gone into these at home. The competition is being run by McArthurGlen. The winning design will be built by the Repair Cafe using reusable materials and displayed in the Designer Outlet Centre. We couldn't decide who should win from our school, so we've left it up to Claire Norman, Senior Climate Action Officer at Ashfrod Borough Council.
