In November our Year 4 Times Table Team went to Phoenix Primary School to compete against five other schools in the Care Foundation Trust. The teams had to complete fast times tables challenges, colouring-by-times-tables questions and using the related division facts in a timed contest too. The competition was close and came down to a tie-breaker round where the children had to use a spiral of times table questions to win. After all that, our amazing team won! Year 1 and 2 have been learning about the 'Great Fire of London' in their Topic lessons. They built their own houses and then 'safely' watched to see how quickly they burnt down.
