In November our Year 4 Times Table Team went to Phoenix Primary School to compete against five other schools in the Care Foundation Trust. The teams had to complete fast times tables challenges, colouring-by-times-tables questions and using the related division facts in a timed contest too. The competition was close and came down to a tie-breaker round where the children had to use a spiral of times table questions to win. After all that, our amazing team won! This week the trophy arrived and the team were able to celebrate properly in front of the whole school! Well done to you all, you represented Goat Lees so well and under such pressure. What a great team!
