Angora Class have been busy!

In Term 4, Angora Class have been exploring significant historical events, including the Great Fire of London and the Gunpowder Plot. As part of our learning, we enjoyed reading Toby and the Great Fire of London, which inspired us to write our own diary entries based on the events of 1666. In Science, they have been developing our understanding of the human body and different types of animals. During Science Week, we carried out an exciting investigation to find out which types of pegs are best for hanging up wet washing, thinking carefully about materials and how strong they are. In Geography, we have been learning about the countries of the United Kingdom, their capital cities, and some of their most famous landmarks. To celebrate our learning, we worked together to produce a fantastic class assembly, where we shared our knowledge of key historical events and the United Kingdom with our parents and the rest of the school.
