Harvest Festival We celebrated our Harvest Festival on Wednesday 3 October by all of our classes showing something in assembly. There were songs and poems as well as a variety of art work completed by the children to celebrate this time of year. Thank you for all of the kind donations which were sent in, we gave these to Vinnie's diner and they were thrilled to receive such a large amount.

At Goat Lees, we are very serious about recycling in order to care for our planet. This year, we will all be learning about recycling and we would like you to join our campaign to recycle as much as we can. One of the projects that we started last year was to gather old/ripped plastic bags and instead of throwing them away, Miss Chapman and Year 6 created a masterpiece on our playground fence.​

Our school values Last year we looked at the values that are important to us as a school. We asked the children, their parents, our staff and our school governors for their views. We now try to work on showing these values every day. Key stage 2 created these displays to show our values: Pride, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

We have had Nibbles and Munch for three years. Year 6 are responsible for looking after them - feeding them and changing their water, as well as keeping their home clean and of course providing plenty of cuddles.
