What a fabulous display of Easter hats we had for our Easter parade. Well done to everyone, it was lovely to see so many in school and thank you to everyone who helped out at home.

This year, we had the amazing news that we had been chosen to be one of the nine schools selected to be part of the Jane Goodall, Roots & Shoots Awards, 2023 held at the Barbican in London. To be one of the chosen schools, was a huge achievement as there are well over 1000 schools in the UK alone who are part of this education programme.  On 3rd March, four lucky children who take part in all things environmental in school, joined two members of staff to travel up to the awards ceremony. We were lucky enough to be chosen to host Jane Goodall's 'International Day of Peace' at our school this year. We flew our giant dove around the school with the whole school following with their own doves. Throughout the day, we thought about what peace meant to us and why this is important. Our English for the week also focused on stories about refugees and how they might feel when they arrive in a new country.
