We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to watch some chicks hatch from their eggs and we were able to handle them carefully. We were surprised by how quickly they grew.
Four children from year 6 entered the maths competition at Explore Learning. Although we didn't win, the children were praised for their exceptional teamwork. Well done, we're very proud of you!
We had many visitors in during our careers week, to talk to us about our own aspirations. To kick start our week, we had 10 visitors from Primary Futures. We had to guess what their job was, and then Year 5 & 6 had a speed networking session with them. Some of the jobs included were neuroscientist, finance manager, and food technology specialist!

Year 1 and 2 had a workshop delivered by the Ashford BME association. The children were taught how to beat a rhythm on the drums and were also able to ask some questions about life in Africa to help them with their topic for this term. We had a fantastic time - thank you!
