We are a one form entry primary school which was established in September 2013 and we pride ourselves on being at ‘The heart of the Community’.
Our website has been designed to provide all the essential information about our school and we hope that you find it easy to use. It is regularly being updated with news, events and all the key dates for the year but If you do have any enquiries, or require a hard copy of any of the documents available, please contact Mrs Fischer-Tsang via the school office.
A massive thank you to you all that donated for this worthy cause. Our school alone raised £445. 43. Your generosity will make a huge difference and is particulalry welcome at this time.
We are busy collecting scrap metal which can be exchanged for money to develop our outdoor area. If you are able to collect tin cans and fizzy drinks cans and then bring them into school we would really appreciate it. We can also take other scrap metal - please see Mrs de Roeck or Mrs paggett for further information. For example, the operation manager (James) at European Metal recycling LTD (where we take our metal) donated an alloy wheel which was damaged and beyond repair: the scrap value was just over £28.
We were lucky enough to be chosen to host Jane Goodall's 'International Day of Peace' at our school this year. We flew our giant dove around the school with the whole school following with their own doves. Throughout the day, we thought about what peace meant to us and why this is important. Our English for the week also focused on stories about refugees and how they might feel when they arrive in a new country.
Thank you to the adults who were able to come and read with their children in our brand new reading shed. This is open during playtimes for any chidlren who would like to sit somewhere quiet and read, or listen to a story. We hope to invite you back when the weather gets a bit warmer.
