Year 1 and 2 had a fabulous morning at Kings Wood. It was a very hot day so the perfect choice to be amongst the shade of the trees. They enjoyed building dens and bug hunting. Thank you to the adults who came along to help us!
We're learning about bees!
Year 1 and year 2 have been busy learning about communities this term with a focus on bees. Children and staff had a buzz day to celebrate and learn about the importance of bees.
The children got hands on building their own bee boxes, learning to measure and use a range of tools. They even got to do some honey tasting, measuring amounts out and baking flapjacks.
School Games Day 2021
We held our School Games Day on a very hot day but the children (and staff) managed really well! We all had a fantastic day, and although we were sorry not to be able to invite our parents/carers to attend this year, the children had chance to be together and cheer each other along! Click on the title and see a few more photos of the day.
