Welcome to Goat Lees Primary School

We are a one form entry primary school which was established in September 2013 and we pride ourselves on being at ‘The heart of the Community’.

Our website has been designed to provide all the essential information about our school and we hope that you find it easy to use. It is regularly being updated with news, events and all the key dates for the year but If you do have any enquiries, or require a hard copy of any of the documents available, please contact Mrs Fischer-Tsang via the school office.

Thank you for visiting.

Billy Class walk to Sandyacres

We enjoyed exploring our local environment today. We fount lots of mini beasts - ladybirds, caterpillars, butterflies and  bees. We watched a bird of prey, circling and swooping high in the sky and then saw a crow trying to scare it off. We saw bluebells, daisys and dandelions. We waved to a police car and stood back when an ambulance rushed past with its  lights flashing and sirens blaring. We enjoyed our snack and listened to stories in the beautiful sunshine. We raced each other and played hide and seek then headed back to school for lunch!  ...

Easter scenes

Well done to everyone who joined in with the 'Easter scene in a box' competition. Such a lot of effort went into creating these at home - we thought they were exceptional! Thank you to everyone who helped out at home too.

Easter Fair

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came and supported our Easter Fair. It was a bit chilly but a lot of fun was had on the different stalls: the hot dogs and popcorn kept us a bit warmer! The raffle prizes were incredible and there were a lot of happy children carrying boxes of Easter Eggs - we just hope they didn't eat them in one go! A great big thank you must also go the Friends of Goat Lees for putting this together, we know how long this takes!

Competition winner!

Dylan in Year 1 won a competition which was run by Ahsford Borough Council. His design, which he made with his grandad, was based on Willesborough Windmill and it was brought to life at Singleton Environmental Centre. Dylan went with his family (inlcuding his grandad) and some friends from his class to fill the windmill with natural materials which will encourage a variety of bugs to take up residence. This will be displayed in the Designer Outlet Centre so look out for it when you are doing a spot of shopping!
