What is special about our world? Billy Class loved  their RE topic in Term 3: ‘What is special about our world?’ They began by experiencing and exploring the wonders and beauty of the natural world….what a day to do that!

Litter Defeaters - Year 1 Our environmental project for Year 1 is looking at litter and why this is causing a problem to our environment. So far, we have completed a litter pick in our school grounds and we have also been out in our local area to do the same. We have recently asked the school community to start making eco bricks for us which we can use in the summer term. Take a look at some of the pages from our floor book.

Habitat Heroes - Year R Our environmental project for Year R is looking at the different habitats we have in our school. So far we have explored our school grounds with our Billy Buddies who taught us how to look after these areas.  Take a look at some of the pages from our floor book.

Bee Protectors - Year 2 Our environmental project for Year 2 is looking at the importance of bees. So far, we have learned about the different types of bees and why they are important to humans. We were very lucky to have a visit from a local beekeeper and we got to sample some honey. We have now started planning our 'Bee Garden' which is going to be next to our vegetable garden.
