VE Day

The whole school celebrated VE Day together. During the week, Mrs de Roeck held an assembly to teach us all about VE Day: what happened on that day and why we like to remember it. We started with a whole school lunch on the field (fish and chips in a bag) and then played lots of traditional games including marbles, croquet, skipping and capture the flag. We finished the day singing our National Anthem.

We all had a good look inside and tried to spot the queen bee but she was too good at hiding! The children learned so many new facts about bees and are excited to share them with everyone!
